This is a delightful bakery with delicious pastry. The lemon blueberry ginger scone was the best I've ever had. There was just a hint of ginger which was perfect. I will definitely return for more treats and try the bread.

Pizza is always cheesy and tasty. Not too expensive. I had the vegan tomato soup and it wasn't bad! I thought I'd get a bigger portion.

Might be my favorite bakery. Worker owned, so they bake it like they have a stake in it. Ride your bike and get a discount.

The staff are always thoughtful and caring. The cherry corn scone is my absolute favorite and I'm excited to try the MYO pizza. I really appreciate all the efforts they have made to adjust their storefront and preorder availability during this time.

Nice addition to the town in this new complex. Lots of seatings inside and outside. No crowd. However, some freshness seems missing from their pastry and pizzas, comparing to their 9th Ave location.

Ordered 10 of the bakers dozen cookie boxes for a corporate event every cookie was a major hit! we needed gluten free and vegan options in one place and Arizmendi was the only place close by that could accommodate our specific needs. if you havent tried this place you NEED TO cookies as big as your face and crunchy yet gooey pure perfection!

This Arizmendi totally surprised me by having full on sandwiches and salads in addition to the usual bakery, pizza, soup scene at the one in Oakland. And both the seasonal salad and the BLT i had were excellent! Bring this stuff to the original location!

Amazing pastries and bread... but I go for the pizza. Usually changes daily and is ALWAYS delicious. My favorite treat!

Five need to know facts about Arizmendi 1. The cookies are amazing, the bread not so much, but it's all fresh daily. 2. Lots of great options for the gluten-free crowd3. It can be hit or miss depending on the day. The offering vary daily. 4. Decent coffee, plenty of seating, but no parking. 5. The whole place is self serve, which I'm not a huge fan of, just too many hands going in and out of the trays.

It's a Co-Op. It's conveniently located, with outdoor seating, and it makes good Arnold Palmers. On the down side when it opened years ago the pastries were divine. On a recent visit with my niece, the focaccia was under-cooked, with a horrible gummy texture - not focaccia at all - just a thick hunk of greasy, tasteless play dough-like lead.Not tasty at all. Several years ago, the San Rafael Arizmendi bakery made consistently fine baked goods with a large variety of savories not just gloppy, greasy faux pizza bread with a little bit of tasteless vegetable smeared on top of it, which they call focaccia. The selection looked like something a kindergarten cooking class would make as far as the sweet pastries - nothing interesting or imaginative or tempting as in years past. Maybe in their next round of pastry chefs, things will change for the better. I'll go again in a few years and try it out.

I love their gluten free muffins and the X-roll is to die for! It's always fun trying their pizza, which changes daily and they now serve golden milk which is cool too. Now all I wish is that maybe they consider cutting down on their plastic (plastic cups, to go cases, straws, etc) love you guys!

The bran muffins are delicious! And my husband loves the slices of pizza. We eat there. Everyone who works there takes pride in making it a marvelous place, with marvelous food for a quick lunch.

I love this place! All the baked goods I've tried here have been wonderful, including the gluten free and vegan options. I highly recommend grabbing one of their muffins if you happen to be in the area! I try to come here whenever I get the chance to. The only downside is that they arent open on sundays, which is unfortunate but understandable.

Vanilla Blueberry scone was delicious. Pizza looked great but they won't serve you a slice until 11am even when there's sliced pizza out of the oven there.

This is a unique and delicious bakery. Its co-owned by the bakers. I believe after working there for 3 months you decide to become a part of the bakery. This is described on a plaque inside. There are lines outside the shop. And I have loved everything I have tried. My favorite is Blueberry corn muffins. Lets see 👀 , cinnamon buns, pizzas, breads, everthing you can think of and all fresh. And baked by the owners and potential owners. Strong and good coffee, lattes- everthing you can get at a coffee bar. Its in a nice couryard so you can eat inside, outside by a fountain or take home. Enjoy!!

This is our favorite bakery in all of San Rafael. Everything they have is amazing, best cookies I've ever had. Any pastry they make is perfection, and it doesn't hurt that they also have pizza! Excellent coffee and atmosphere as well. Love it!

This place is perfect for me. They have good selection of gluten free and vegan meals. It taste good and the price was reasonable. The service was excellent.

Best bakery in Matin. Every day they have a different type of scone, fruit snail and delicious gourmet pizza. The staff is ultra friendly and there is alot of parking nearby, so stopping in for a second is a snap!

We had x-roll, strawberry scone and cinnamon roll. Just remember that their cinnamon roll has raisins in them which my kid prefers not to. Their special Pride Rainbow cookies are really fancy and spectacular looking. Must have it while it is offered for a short period time. Several tables and a couple of sofas to sit are available inside.Many customers come to pick up phone ordered pizzas for dinner at 4 pm. Great casual bakery with many collection of artisan breads & loaves, scones, muffins, rolls and special cookies.

Usually I don't like scones but there weren't a ton of options when I came in today. Sunday at 10:30. Based on prior reviews I was looking forward to their pecan bun but none available so opted for the scone. I never order scones but this one is really good. Not dry and super buttery. Probably not the healthiest option but I really liked the texture of this one. 5* for the scone. The ham and cheese bread pudding was super cheesy. Would have been better warm. 3* for the ham & cheese. Chai tea was pretty good. Strong chai flavor and not as sweet as starbucks. Overall, good place to grab a snack and would return.

Every meal I've had here has been delicious. I used to work nearby, and this was one of my go-tos for breakfast or lunch. Also loved treating my kids to their home-baked English muffins. Oh, and their cookies are epic. I could go on and on. Yum.

Coffee could be better but this location is as good as the one in SF.

A watermark for muffin quality. Centrally located for maximum exposure. Serves Equator coffee which is above average.
